AN INVITATION.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
COME AND SEE: JOHN 1:39
A Journey to discover the Catholic faith.
The RCIA consists of periods of awakening, growth, and formation.
In our Diocese the RCIA process is the normal way in which adults become active, participating members of the Catholic Church.

Who is RCIA for?
- Anyone who is not baptised.
- Anyone who is baptised into another mainstream religious denomination. They will not be rebaptised.
- Baptised Catholic who has not been confirmed or received Eucharist.
How long does the RCIA process take?
- Apart from the fact that Initiation takes place during the Easter Vigil, there is no actual timetable or time limit.
- An Information evening is held in July each year for those who wish to take this important step.
- An Inquirer is free to leave the process at any time- there is no obligation to becoming a Catholic.
- People who gather for Inquiry time will come to share the sacredness of each person’s story. The sacredness of these life stories is to be respected through the confidentiality of the whole group.
- The process takes the form of weekly meetings which go from 7.30 until 9pm. Our meetings will be of a Wednesday night. We do not meet during school holidays.
